Maori Health Initiatives
- we are currently assessing the best ways to target the specific needs of our Maori population
Men’s and Women’s Wellness Checks
- at-risk individuals, including Maori and Pacific and Indian people aged 35 and over
- free to men and women over 45 years, and
- haven’t attended GP for 3 years
Mental Health
- Brief Intervention Co-ordination (BIC) – provide services for people with mild to moderate health issues

- up to three free appointments with a podiatrist for people experiencing poor foot health
Physiotherapy
- a ten week physiotherapy programme aimed at improving pain,level of functioning and quality of life for people with osteoarthritis of the knee
Pharmacist services
- aims to provide integrated pharmacist services by having onsite/near site pharmacists working collaboratively with Christchurch PHO GP practices
